Regular session of the UNESCO National Committee of Turkmenistan has been held in the Foreign Ministry on January 30 at the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Number of heads of leading specialists of profile ministries and departments of the country as well administration of the capital and mass media took part in the session.

In order to improve the socio-economic and environmental situation in the Aral Sea region in the epoch of might and happiness, to reduce its negative impact, as well as to develop the National Program for the Aral Sea in the context of upcoming work in this direction, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the establishment of the Interdepartmental Commission on the development of the National Program of Turkmenistan for the Aral Sea for 2021-2025 and control over its implementation.

In order to successfully continue the reforms carried out in the agricultural sector of the country in the epoch of might and happiness, the distribution of crops according to their types in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of the velayats and etraps, as well as the further increase in the volume of agricultural production through the use of scientifically grounded crop rotation and increasing crop yields, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the 2021 plan for the distribution of crops among velayats.

In order to further improve the activities for the circulation of precious metals and stones in the epoch of might and happiness, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to rename the Committee on precious metals and precious stones of the Central Bank into the Fund of precious metals and precious stones.

On January 28, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference working session with participations of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of administration of Lebap Region and Ashgabat as well the Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent his congratulations to Mr. Sadyr Japarov on taking office as President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On January 28, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan held online meeting with a group of experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed by Natalia Tamirisa.

On January 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an online meeting with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Hadi Soleimanpour.
