The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and Capital.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on the Naming of Turkmen National Conservatory after Maya Kuliyeva and on the Naming of Turkmen State Medical University after Myrat Garriyev.

The fifth session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation, where number of new laws and legal acts, which were developed according to integrated programme of modernization of legal and regulatory base of the country, has been adopted, took place. Heads of some ministries and departments as well as representatives of mass media were invited to take part in the session.

By the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) Serdarmammet Garajayev was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the State of Kuwait.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned to hold nationwide community day for planting of trees in the country on March 21.

For regulation of the activity of the state pre-school children and secondary education institutes as well as according to the Law of Turkmenistan on Edcuation, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Provision on the state pre-school children and secondary education institutes.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov is going to Romania for the participation in special meeting of the foreign ministers of the republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Turkmenistan on the project of creation of Caspian – Black Sea international transport corridor.
