Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the request of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Purchekov, who is in charge of the construction complex, got acquainted with the progress of work at some facilities in the capital and with new projects planned for implementation. In this regard, the head of state heard reports from the respective Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Hyakim of the city of Ashgabat, the head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as a representative of Bouygues Turkmen.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a message to the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky, in which he noted that he received the news of his illness with coronavirus and hospitalization with deep sympathy.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular session of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies in January of this year, as well as relevant issues to ensure the security and peace of the Turkmen state, further strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies and improving their activities.

The next issue of the trimestrial popular scientific Miras Magazine published by the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Makhtumkuli of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan has been issued.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held an online working meeting, in which some Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and khyakims of regions took part. The issues connected with further economic development of independent Turkmenistan, the rising of living standards of people as well as conduction of seasonal agricultural activities at a high level were considered.

By the Decree issued by the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Extraordinary Commission of Turkmenistan for Combating the Spread of Diseases, Minister of Health and Medical Industry N. Amannepesov has been released from the duties of Acting Chairman of the above Commission.

For the purpose of scientifically substantiating the fundamental reforms being carried out in our independent Homeland in the Prosperous Epoch of the Powerful State, the introduction of scientific advances into the economy, science, education and culture, the science-based study of the history, culture, art, language and literature of our people, as well as the training of highly qualified professionals and scientific personnel the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, according to which the admission quotas for postgraduate and doctoral students in the fields of science, the registration of applicants for academic degrees, as well as the admission of medical postgraduate students to clinical studies in 2022 have been approved.

In order to continue the work being carried out in the Prosperous Epoch of the Powerful State to develop culture and art in our country, as well as to encourage creative workers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree authorizing the Ministry of Textile Industry to conclude a contract with the State Enterprise “Dokmahyzmat” for the design and construction of a well-equipped cultural center “Dokmaçylar” of this Ministry along the Seydi metropolitan street with the neighborhood improvement.

In order to successfully implement the objectives set for the oil and gas industry of the country and ensure the timely performance of the planned work to increase oil production, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant Decree. According to the document, the Central Bank has been instructed to allocate credit funds to the “Türkmenbaşy” Joint Stock Commercial Bank for granting bank loans to the “Türkmennebit” State Concern for the purpose of financing the planned work to increase oil production through the exploration and development of oil and gas fields.

Last week, 36 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
