In order to implement effective measures in the period “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State” to popularize and widely establish healthy lifestyle standards among the population, combat tobacco, further improve the health of citizens and increase people’s life expectancy, turn Turkmenistan into a tobacco-free country by 2025, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, approving the National Program for Turning Turkmenistan into a Tobacco-Free Country for 2022-2025, the Action Plan for its implementation, as well as members of the established Interdepartmental Coordination Commission for the implementation of this National Program.

In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan on Railway Transport, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the Procedure for marking and using zones of branch railways.

In consideration of the great services performed by our women in the period “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State” in carrying out reforms for the country’s prosperity, raising a faithful to the Homeland, healthy and inspired generation, in order to continue the noble traditions of ancestors in honoring dear mothers and sisters, as well as implement the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1152 “On presenting cash to women of our country as gifts on the occasion of International Women’s Day” dated February 27, 2019, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order.

Today, an international media forum was held in the capital in an online format dedicated to the motto of the year “The era of the people with Arkadag” and the role of the media in the world community in the context of the development of Turkmenistan.

This morning, in the meeting hall of the hyakimlik of the Dashoguz velayat, voters met with Berdimammet Gurbanov, a deputy of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, a candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan nominated by an initiative group of citizens, the chief physician of the Avaza sanatorium of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country.

The technology of using licorice root in the manufacture of food products was developed in the laboratory of the Academy of Sciences Technology Center of Turkmenistan.

On February 23, 2022, in Geneva, where the Headquarters of the World Trade Organization is located, during the regular meeting of the WTO General Council, the application of Turkmenistan for entry into this Organization was considered.
