Today the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Turkmenistan on a state visit.

In order to implement the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of the Joint Turkmen-Azerbaijani Commission on Transport, Transit and Logistics, as well as further development of relations between the two countries, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, in accordance with which the composition of the Joint Turkmen-Azerbaijani Commission was created and approved commissions on transport, transit and logistics from the Turkmen side.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which topical issues of state life and drafts of a number of documents aimed at further development of key sectors of national economy were considered.

Today, in accordance with the approved schedule, farmers of the Dashoguz velayat have started sowing cotton, where, due to climatic conditions, the sowing campaign starts a little later than in other regions of the country.

Today, the capital’s Hotel “Yildyz” has hosted the International Forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengaz”, “Turkmennebit” and “Turkenhimiya”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” in partnership with the ES “Turkmen Forum” and with the support from the British Company “Gaffney Cline”.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, as well as the hyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, having discussed the key objectives of the socio-economic development of the capital and regions and and seasonal agricultural work.

By the order of the President of Turkmenistan, the delegation of Turkmenistan was sent to the city of Huangshan of the People's Republic of China on March 29-31, 2022 to participate in the regular, third meeting of the foreign ministers of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan, as well as in the work of the Dialogue «Neighboring countries of Afghanistan + Afghanistan».

Last week, 52 transactions were registered at the bargains of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
