Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is in Qatar on a state visit, met in Doha with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Today, the opening of the international conference “Main Directions and Potential of Tourism Development in Turkmenistan” took place at the Arçabil Hotel in the capital.

Three medals will be taken home by Turkmen judoists from the Junior European Cup, which ended in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), 14 sets of awards of which were contested by 268 athletes (166 men and 102 women) from 18 countries within two days.

Turkmen judoka Serdar Rahymov won the gold medal at the Junior European Cup that started in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). This remarkable success was achieved by a 1st year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in the weight category up to 66 kg, in which 27 athletes from 13 countries competed for the title of the strongest.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which some issues of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan were discussed, and drafts of a number of documents were considered.

In order to implement the educational policy of the President of Turkmenistan in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, create favorable conditions for the young generation to get modern education to be well versed in innovative technologies, to foster professionals with a broad worldview, as well as present laptops as a gift to schoolchildren admitted to the first grade of general education schools of the country in the 2023-2024 academic year, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant Decree, according to which the Ministry of Education is authorized to conclude contracts with the “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” Joint Venture and the “Aýdyň gijeler” Economic Society for the purchase of laptops manufactured in Turkmenistan, their installation in educational institutions until August 1, 2023, and for maintenance thereof.

Today, an exhibition of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of this large public organization, has opened in the capital. A conference was also organized as part of it.

Today, the “Adalat” Palace has hosted the 5th conference of judges of Turkmenistan, which was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court, the Arbitration Court, and judges of regional, city and districy courts. The forum agenda held via a digital system, included the priority objectives of further improvement of performance of the judicial bodies of the country.
