Since the first days of independence, Turkmenistan has firmly adhered to the policy of good-neighbourly relations, actively engaged in a constructive dialogue with the states of Central Asia. This can be confirmed by visits to the countries of the region, including friendly and fraternal Kazakhstan. At each of these meetings, the heads of state review the state and prospects of Turkmen-Kazakh relations, discuss priority areas for further development of cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
Turkmenistan and Tatarstan are bound by long-term partnership relations. Thanks to active multi-level cooperation, the interaction of the two countries covers new areas.
