At the session of the Government on October 5, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid meredov reported on the elaboration of the Draft Programme of implementation of constructive initiatives voiced by the President of Turkmenistan at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly where the Head of the State made political statement.

Preparation to International exhibition of motor transport is ongoing in Turkmenistan. Vehicles of various modifications including light, passenger, cargo and specialized transport would be presented at the review.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the meeting dedicated to the implementation of the initiatives, put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the 73d session of the UN General Assembly.

Outcomes of International conference Heavy Caspian; Turkmenistan in Avaza, discussing current issues of development of the world market of transport and logistic service, were summed up at the session of the Government on October 5.

The opening of petrochemical complex for processing of natural gas and production of polyethylene and polypropylene, which will be the first facility of such profile, will be held in Balkan velayat on October 17. Its production output capacity allows processing of 5 billion cubic meters of gas and producing 381,000 tons of high-density polyethylene, 81,000 tons of polypropylene and other production per year.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Berdyev Myratniyaz is released from the post as the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and the Manager of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Turkmenistan and is appointed as the Chairman of the SCB “Daýhanbank”.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbandurdyev Serdar Hodjanazarovich is released from the positions as the Vice-President of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and ADB Deputy Manager in Turkmenistan due to a transfer to another appointment.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to establish the Financial Monitoring Service at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan singed the Resolution, authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Industry of Turkmenistan to conclude the additional agreement with the JSC Uzsanoateksport (the Republic of Uzbekistan) on the purchase of the agricultural equipment to the contract, signed earlier in compliance with Resolution of Turkmenistan No. 88 dated March 6 2017.

With the aim to implement the decisions, adopted during the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on the improvement of the agricultural reforms as well as to economically motivate the wheat and cotton growers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to increase the state purchase prices for cotton and wheat, starting from 2019.
