An International Trade Exhibition and the 11th International Scientific Conference entitled ‘The Turkmen Horse and World Horse Breeding’ have opened in the capital. They are timed to coincide with National Turkmen Horse Day, marked publicly in our country.

“I congratulate you on the opening of the International Trade Fair and XI International scientific conference “A Turkmen Horse and World Art of Horse Breeding”, held in our country on the occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day”, says the President of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory address.

The Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, the Military Officers’ Palace and the Public Organizations Center have hosted formal presentation events for a new book titled ‘The Horse: A Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness’ by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Yildyz Hotel of the capital hosted the 7th session of Turkmen – British Trade and Economic Council. Representative delegation chaired by the member of the Parliament of Lords of Great Britain, Trade Representative of the Prime Minister of the country Duchess Emma Nicolson has to come to Turkmenistan for participation in session.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council where important subjects of the state life have been reviewed. The hyakims of the velayats and the capital have been invited to the session.

According to the Order of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov from October 12, 2018, the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have privatized fishery facilities of the country and at present time, the reconstruction and modernization of their equipment and facility base are carried out. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier Chary Gylyjov on the session of the Government on April 25.

Visits of high-level delegations to our country and range of international events are planned in May.

Asian Boxing Championship in held in Bangkok (The Kingdom of Thailand) on April 16 – 27. 315 sportsmen from 35 countries contest for the medals of the tournament in different weight categories.

European Open Tai Boxing and Mix Fight Championship was held in Kharkov on April 22 - 26. Teams from 10 countries as well as Turkmenistan National team comprising of 16 sportsmen took part in the competitions.

Traditional equestrian marathon was held along the Kopetdag Avenue in foothill valley of the southern edge of the capital under the events timed to National Turkmen Horse Holiday, which is marked on the last Sunday of April.
