XIV CIS Forum of Cultural and Scientific Personnel, which is held under the chairing of Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States, has started its work in Turkmen capital.

The award ceremony of the winners of the Commonwealth Star Interstate Prize, which is conferred for the achievements in science, education, culture and art, took place in Turkmen capital under XIV CIS Cultural and Scientific Personnel Forum.

Speaking at XIV CIS Cultural and Scientific Personnel Forum, Co-chairman of the Board of International Humanitarian Cooperation Fund, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvidkoy noted that it is pleasure for him to speak from the tribune in Ashgabat by many reasons including by the one that links to his memories of service his military duty in Turkmenistan.

In his speech at XIV CIS Cultural and Scientific Personnel Forum, Board Chairman of the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund Polad Bulbul Ogly continued the subject of youth affairs and education.

The Centre of Non –governmental organizations hosted conference “Turkmenistan – United Nations Organization: New heights of strategic cooperation” on May 11.

Agricultural workers in Dashoguz velayat started rice sowing campaign. Rice will be sown on 8,100-hectare territory located in S.Turkmenbashi etrap, where all necessary conditions for obtaining high yields of food crops are created.
