The fourth meeting of the Mejlis of the seventh convocation was held today to discuss a number of important regulatory and legal documents. These documents were developed in accordance with the priorities of the state policy of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the comprehensive program for modernizing the country's legislative framework.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system.

Taking an active and initiative position in development of well-balanced solutions to topical issues of modernity, neutral Turkmenistan continues to put into practice consistently its foreign policy based on principles of peaceful disposition, good neighbourhood and constructive cooperation in regional and global dimensions. Important events of international significance, by which the current year is marked, can serve a clear evidence of effectiveness of the far-sighted strategy, which was initiated by Hero-Arkadag and is successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The fourth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation will take place in the building of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan at 10.00 a.m. on November 25, 2023.

On November 22, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin.

Ashgabat once again becomes the venue for the next major sports tournament. According to the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Olympic Park of our white marble capital city will host the 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship from November 23 to 28, which is to write another vivid page in the history of Turkmen sports.

A few days remain until the start of the 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship in Ashgabat, which, we can already say, will go down in history as one of the major sporting events of the year.

The most important areas of the state policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, among which are the strengthening of competitive national economy, priorities of science, education and high technologies, an innovative way of development of the country and maintenance of a high level of living standards of Turkmen people, found their reflection in the events of the past week.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The meeting agenda included issues related to the progress of seasonal field campaigns and other relevant work in the regions of the country.

In order to rationally and effectively use the country’s land resources, as well as regulate land relations, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, approving the composition of the State Commission on Land Issues.
