President of the United States of America Donald Trump has sent a letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov with warm wishes on the occasion of Oraza Bairam.

Today, on Cultural and Art Workers Day, the Turkmen capital has hosted a big festive concert, which comes as a final event of the Culture Week. Each day of the Week was eventful and featured spectacular activities, which showcased the achievements and enormous potential of Turkmenistan’s arts. The country’s best performing artists and ensembles represented all national arts.

Turkmen athletes have won three prizes including one silver and two bronze medals during the international track-and-field tournament held recently in Almaty (Kazakhstan). Our compatriots were successful in the hammer throwing and 4x400 meter relay.

New industrial water treatment and circulation supply system was commissioned at Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Leaders of branch departments, administration and public organizations of the city, honoured elders, constructors as well as representatives of British «Petro Gas LLP» who made this project took part in the opening ceremony.

Exhibition fair “Trade and Services 2017” started in Ashgabat. Exposition centre of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of the country turned into a supermarket for two days – this was a concept, the organizers made having collected numerous representatives of the branch on one ground.

Nearby the settlement of Bagabat, Ak Bugdai etrap, Akhal velayat, an event has been held to destroy narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, seized during a number of special anti-drug operations conducted by law enforcement and military agencies.

Congratulations on the Holiday of Oraza Bairam, as well as the best wishes were sent to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Mejlis Chairwoman A. Nurberdyeva received the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to Turkmenistan Ms. Keitumetse Seipelo Thandeka Matthews.

The exhibition in Ashgabat is to demonstrate the achievements of trade sphere for the years of the independence. I am firmly confident that it will play an important role in future improvement of quality of services of the population, - the message of the Head of the State says.
