Representatives of the Guinness World Records, which collects the information about the Guinness World Record Book, have registered new places in Ashgabat as the largest facilities by certain parameters. This is attested by the certificates, according to which the image of the horse decorating the stand of the Olympic stadium in the capital is named as the largest architectural symbol of the horse on the planet and the Centre of Water Sports of the Olympic village as the largest indoor swimming pool built using newest technologies and ecologically friendly materials meeting high international standards.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed his deep sympathies to President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi on the occasion of the widespread flooding, happened in the country entailing numerous human losses, injuries and destructions.

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 18 transactions were registered

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority subjects of the state life were reviewed.

Within the preparation for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games the draw was held for the futsal tournament. The national team of Turkmenistan which acts in group ""A"", will compete with teams from Vietnam, Taipei (China), Hong Kong (China) and Solomon Islands. It should be noted that in the «Ashgabat 2017» the futsal tournament is one of the most anticipated ones.

The State Program for the Development of social and human sciences and Action plan for its implementation has been approved. The corresponding Resolution was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the government meeting.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on Establishing the Interdepartmental Commission on Employment of Young Professionals in Turkmenistan.

In Ashgabat, active construction of parking lots is being carried out with the aim to optimize traffic and expand the urban parking space. Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers D. Amangeldiev informed about it at a government meeting.
