President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where actual issues of domestic and foreign policy of the State were reviewed as well as important decisions in social and economic life of the country were made.

After being recognized as a permanently neutral country on December 12, 1995, Turkmenistan has become a guarantor of stability in the region. The fact that the United Nations General Assembly declared December 12 as International Neutrality Day on your initiative is seen as the recognition of Your country’s contribution to maintaining peace and stability both in the region and in the world. The capital hosted regular session of Turkmen – American business council, which agenda included the perspectives of further development of bilateral cooperation.

The country’s Skyrunning Cup Tournament finished in Ashgabat. The final round of the tournament, which determined the winners of 2017, was a race on the Health Path in the discipline Sky Race, organized by the Mountaineering Club “Agama” under the auspices of the State Sports Committee, and held on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the International Day of Mountains. Yazgeldy Odeniyazov in the men’s group and Nadziya Kostova in the women’s group became the Cup winners.
