The exhibition and conference will be held on 17-18 March, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. UIET representatives working in such areas as industry, agriculture, construction and building materials, processing and food industry, transport, logistics, tourism, education, trade and services will represent their achievements at the specialized review.

A draft of the State program for supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurship for 2018-2024 has been prepared. The vice-premier Myradov G., who supervises the sphere of economy and finance, told this at the government meeting.

Mission of the International Monetary Fund chaired by Martin Sommer for the evaluation of the development of macroeconomic and financial situation, discussion of economic challenges and priorities of economic policy with responsible personnel of the government authorities, representatives of the real and financial sectors and diplomatic community have visited Ashgabat from February 16 to March 6, 2018.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise for the Caspian Sea under the President of Turkmenistan jointly with the International Ocean Institute (IOI) organized the international seminar ""The Caspian Sea - Sustainable Development and Management"" in the Avaza National tourism zone. Experts from various ministries and departments of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and our country take part in the event, as well as international experts - IOI scientific consultants in the field of maritime economy, politics, management, ecology, law of the sea and other disciplines take part in the seminar.

As it was informed at the session of Turkmen Government, the cotton sowing campaign starts on March 23. Cotton grower of Ahal, Lebap and Mary Velayats will commence the sowing on that day, while Dashoguz Velayat will join them on March 28. In this regard, the Head of the State noted that future harvest mainly depends on the compliance with agrotechnical standards during the sowing, therefore it is important that this campaign would be held on time and on high level.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers. Having announced the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov who reported on preparation to coming official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the State of Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution allowing the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry to conclude a contract with Nusaý ýollary Individual Enterprise to design and build a health resort for 200 persons in Ak Bugday district of Ahal province, to provide it with modern medical equipment, spare parts and expendable items, train professionals and improve the surrounding territory.

As reported at the Government session on 9 March, preparations are underway for the scheduled upcoming official visits to the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates by the President of Turkmenistan.

During the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 2, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the objectives of further steadfast development of fuel and energy complex including the improvement of its infrastructure, enhancement of production powers of petrochemical facilities producing wide variety of competitive goods.
