Under the Decree by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for success in strengthening Turkmenistan’s independence and sovereignty, implementing state programs to develop economic sectors; taking into account special services to the independent state and the people of the country, and the long-standing, diligent, selfless, exemplary work; as well as on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the following persons were awarded Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin medal:

With the aim to develop entrepreneurial activities in the period of market economic relations, support small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and create innovative industries, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving a number of relevant proposals of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to establish a fund for supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in the country.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving a list of some construction and industrial goods that are subject to customs duties when imported into Turkmenistan and the amount of customs duties.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution by ordering the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, at the expense of the state funds through the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank ""Rysgal"", to allocate to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) a loan of up to 2,400,000,000 (two billion four hundred million) US dollars for a period of 20 years with 1 percent per annum and a five-year grace period for financing the construction of a high-speed Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the State Program for the Support of Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan for 2018-2024 and a plan of relevant activities for this period.

In accordance with Turkmenistan’s Land Code and Resolution by the President of Turkmenistan No.14668 of 18 March 2016 “On Regulating Land Relations in Turkmenistan”, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution prescribing to allocate for permanent use by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs a plot of land of 8 hectares, located along the Tehran Street in Ashgabat, to construct a group of buildings consisting of trade and entertainment, business centers, and a modern residential house.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where topical issues of the state life have been discussed.

During the session of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on Approval of custom duties on glass and bottle products imported to Turkmenistan.

At the extended session of the Government on March 15, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov summed up the outcomes of the visit to Kuwait on March 13-14. The President of Turkmenistan highlighted that the talks with the Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-JAber Al-Sabah were held in the atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and trust.
