8th session of joint Turkmen – German Committee was held in Berlin on April 29 – May 1. The indicators of 4 months of 2018 for the Ministry of Industry in terms of the volume of products, works and services performed amounted to 126.5 percent, compared to the same period of the last year, the growth rate is 111, 1 percent.

Since the beginning of the year, the volume of trade turnover in the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations has increased by 5.1 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

The results of 4 months of 2018 testify to the stable operation of oil and gas enterprises. The plan for oil and gas condensate production was fulfilled by 102.2 percent, processing of hydrocarbon raw materials by 101.6 percent, production of gasoline by 102.1 percent, diesel fuel by 100.2 percent, polypropylene by 102 percent, lubricating oils - 107.6 percent, liquefied gas - 102.7 percent, investment development - 102.8 percent. The construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline is carried out according to the plan.

A sudden check of the National Army's combat readiness, conducted on May 3 by order of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, once again demonstrated excellent training of personnel of all combat arms and military units.
