The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan prepares for working visit of Turkmenistan delegation to the Islamic Republic of Iran planned on May 12 – 13. During the visit of Turkmenistan delegation to Iran, it is planned to have number of meetings with profile ministries and to discuss topical issues of Turkmen – Iranian cooperation in key directions.

During the session of the Government on May 11, the President of Turkmenistan focused in the involvement of the potential of railway sphere for the development of multimodal transport and communication system. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that International Seaport was opened in Caspian Sea recently, which operation undoubtedly would lead to strategic changes of logistic infrastructure of continental communications. Turkmen transit hubs will be important components of this system.

For this purpose, the subjects of organization of cultural and entertainment events and various sport competitions are solved. The commission composed of the representatives of the Ministry of education and other departments made inspection of children recreation centres in Gyokdere. All conditions for opening of summer season and the first arrival of children were made in 14 centres of Gyokdere, 8 centres of Avaza and 5 new and three existing velayat centres.

The analysis and research magazine, Finance and Economics, established in 2018 is a new product on the country’s information market. According to the Resolution by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the bimonthly publication is issued in Turkmen, Russian and English.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the course of fulfilment of the President’s programme of social and economic development of the country and other priority subjects of the state life have been reviewed.

With a view to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan and to expand bilateral commercial and economic, scientific, technical and cultural ties, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the membership of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission for Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation from the Turkmen side.

Ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of new modern industrial facility that would be built according to the Programme of the President of Turkmenistan of social and economic development of the country in 2018 – 2024 as well as to the objectives of textile industry for the increment of export production was held in Babadayhan etrap.
