President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Eric Stuart, the Executive Director of Turkmen – American Business Council.

During the meeting, the parliamentarians will discuss the draft Laws “On the principles of the transport policy of Turkmenistan” and “On the government regulation of agriculture development”. A number of existing laws will be amended and the Ombudsman - commissioner for human rights of Turkmenistan will present the report during the meeting.

Conference hall of Agricultural Complex hosted International scientific and practical conference “Turkmenistan is the Heart of the Great Silk Road and the Place of Ecological Wealth” dedicated to the World Environment Day. It was organized by the State Committee for Natural Protection and Land Resources.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session with the participation of Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising agricultural complex as well as the hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat. The agenda included priority objectives of social and economic development of the velayats and the capital and seasonal agricultural works.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Perhat Kovusov was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee.

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to Turkmenistan Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio.

On June 3, Vehicle-free day, the Ecological Monitoring Service of the State Committee for Environment Protection and Land Resources took samples of the air at seven mobile and stationary monitoring units in Ashgabat for analysis of the impact of traffic restriction on the atmosphere. Control samples were taken on the day before, on June 2, which showed the concentration of dust, formaldehyde, phenol and nitrogen dioxide in the air is lower than maximum permissible concentration.
