On December 11, 2024, on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality, Ashgabat hosted the International Conference entitled “Joint Efforts in Strengthening International Peace and Sustainable Development”.

In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as a result of the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, large-scale measures are being taken to build up the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations of our country established with the countries of the world.

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Honoured Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Council of Elders under the Khalk Maslakhaty and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Care. Its agenda included the issues connected with fulfilment of the goals, set forward at the national forum as well as with the course of large scale work carried out in velayats. 

Today, in accordance with the documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the awarding ceremonies of the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» and the commemorative signs «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» were held for particularly distinguished citizens working in various sectors of the country and making a great contribution to the study and widespread popularisation in the world of the creative heritage of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, to the education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, respect for national values, traditions and customs of our people. 

On December 10, 2024, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Executive Director of the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate of the UN Security Council Natalia Gherman.

On December 10, 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yıldırım, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebratory events.

On December 10, 2024, in accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairwoman of the Mejlis (Parliament) D. Gulmanova received credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Turkmenistan Jesper Vahr.

On December 10, 2024, in accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Turkmenistan Marcel Fortuna Biato.

On December 10, 2024, upon the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairwoman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova received credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Turkmenistan Julien De Fraipont.
