In the afternoon, the International Conference entitled ‘Turkmenistan and International Organizations: Cooperation for Peace and Development’ continued at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Notably, the conference is the first landmark event of the year celebrating the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Head of famous Danish company Haldor Topsoe, Mr Bjorn Stephan Clausen.

Multilateral consultations on the development of the UN Special Programme for the countries of the Aral Sea basin took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Consultative meeting of the Central Asian states started with the discussion of its agenda.

The Regional working groups on the development of the Action Program to assist the countries of the Aral Sea Basin (ASBP-4) and improvement of the IFAS institutional and legal mechanisms held its third session at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat in frames of Turkmenistan’s presidency over the International Fund for Aral Sea.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with the management of oil and gas complex where improvement of activity of this sphere and enhancement of its efficiency have been discussed.
