Gala concert of the art masters of the country was held in honour of International Women Day in the celebration hall of the Trade and Industrial Chamber.

The Public Organizations Center has hosted a festivity to mark International Women’s Day. An award ceremony took place during the event for mothers of eight and more children, who were given the honorary title ‘Ene Mähri’ in accordance with a Presidential Decree. Today, mothers of many children were also presented keys to comfortable flats.

A chance to look to the future of Turkmen urban construction, to creative laboratory of project planners and designers, where new ideas take visual shapes, is presented by the publication of Construction and Architecture magazine.

Another phase of election campaign – the registration of the candidates to the deputies of the Mejlis, members of the People’s Council and Gengeshys instead of those who resigned, has been completed on March 5. The first two phases – the nomination and registration, which were held in strict compliance with existing legislation of the country and international standards, became to base for organization of true democratic elections.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Olympic village where he inspected the conditions made for training of Turkmen sportsmen to big international competitions, the Head of the State has also visited the horses in the Ahalteke Equestrian Complex, having spent some time with horses.

Three high-rise apartment buildings have celebrated their grand opening in the residential neighborhood, Parakhat-7/3, in the south of the capital. Performances by performing groups brightened the event and added to a festive atmosphere.

The initiative on the establishment of a central veterinary clinic that may become a foundation of an animal welfare organisation was put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and supported by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, an active partner of the government of the country in the economic and social projects.

The seminar for journalists on the subject of Climate Change and Pastures in Turkmenistan, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and natural Protection of our country together with the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ), has started in the Yildyz hotel of the capital.

The projects of construction of modern living estates in Charjev, Sayat, Khalach and Kerky etraps of Lebap Velayat were presented to the Head of the State for review during video conference session on February 25.

The meeting with Rector of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies Nicolae Istudor and Pro-rector Constantin Marius Profiroiu at the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management focused on the prospects for widening the bilateral partnership in the academic sphere.
