Representatives of the Mejlis took part in the five-day informational Seminar for Parliamentarians held in videoconference format by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) on March 22-26.

The Interdepartmental Commission to ensure the fulfillment of Turkmenistan's international obligations in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law held a regular meeting.

The diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad organized thematic events on the occasion of the holiday of Novruz. This holiday is included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the National holiday of spring – the International Day of Novruz. 

The spring tree planting campaign has been started in Turkmenistan with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Nationwide action of tree planting was timed to National Spring Holiday – International Nowruz Day.
