On January 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an online meeting with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Hadi Soleimanpour.

In accordance with an Order issued by the President of Turkmenistan, the following senior officials:

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a number of Decrees that sanctioned as follows:

“Let me extend my cordial congratulations on the Motherland’s Defender Day, which is observed on the first days of the year, which slogan is “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust”! This holiday is a symbol of big trust, unlimited respect and care of the personnel of military and law enforcement structures who protect sovereignty, constitutional order and integrity of the State border of our independent and neutral Turkmenistan, provide security of the country, peace, fulfilment of national legislation and public order”, - the celebration message of President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov says.

On January 26, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made working trip around the capital, having inspected the construction of the Garagum hotel with multi-profile business center and park located nearby as well as Ashgabat – Turkmenabat highway.

On January 26, online Turkmenistan-Belarus ministerial-level consultations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makey.

On January 25, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital, during which inspected the construction of some important facilities and projects of integrated modernization of social infrastructure of the city as well expressed interest in work for breeding of Turkmen shepherds, which are national heritage of Turkmen people.

National observers, who will monitor the electoral campaign of members of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan in accordance with Article 6 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, were registered.

On January 22, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current issues of the state life have been discussed and drafts of some documents aimed at further social and economic development of the country have been reviewed.

On January 21, the 9th Turkmen-German Health Forum kicked off at the International Research and Training Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry in an online telebridge format.
