President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan who arrived in Turkmen capital for participation in the session of the Council of the CIS Heads of the States.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary, Sergey Lebedev.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in Turkmenistan to attend the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon, who arrived in our country to take part in the meeting of the CIS Heads of State.

“We are grateful to Turkmenistan for the wonderful organization of the work of the CIS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs”, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, addressing the mass media representatives.

Turkmen capital hosted the session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was a final stage of preparation to the Council of the Heads of the CIS states on October 11.

CIS Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs started its meeting in a narrow format. The heads of diplomatic agencies exchanged views on the important aspects of international relations and interaction within the CIS.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Vyacheslav Beskosty who presented his credentials to the Head of the State.
