Last week, 40 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left on a working visit to the Russian Federation, where he took part in an informal Summit of CIS leaders, traditionally held annually in St. Petersburg at the end of the outgoing year.

In order to fulfill plans for exports of Turkmen electricity to foreign countries, as well as to continue cooperation between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in the electrical energy industry, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree authorizing the State Electric Corporation “Türkmenenergo” of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan to conclude, in accordance with the relevant Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan, additional agreements to extend the validity of contracts concluded with the Company “Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat” for supplying electricity from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, as well as setting the volume and price of the electricity to be supplied.

Today President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the visiting extended meeting of the Cabinet, which considered projects of buildings erected in the new administration centre of Akhal region.
