Tennis players from Turkmenistan have defeated Uzbek team for the first time in history at the Asian Championship for boys and girls under 12 years old, which is ongoing in Ashgabat.

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the outputs of activities of the military and law enforcement agencies over five months of this year, issues of ensuring security and tranquility in the independent Turkmen state, as well as strengthening the material and technical resources of security agencies and further improving performance tehreof.

In connection with the accession of Turkmenistan to the «Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road Concerning the Electronic Waybill», as well as in order to further improve the execution of the waybill, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, instructing the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet Ministers to ensure the creation of an electronic information exchange system of the Electronic Waybill of the Agency «Türkmenawtoulaglary», as well as, together with the Ministry of Adalat, within a month, prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals for amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution.

The second victory was won by the tennis players of Turkmenistan at the Central Asian team championship held in Ashgabat among boys and girls under 12 years old.
