President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Tashkent on a working visit to participate in the 16th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

In accordance with articles 25, 54, 56, 72 and 83 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Court” I decree:

Following the primordial traditions of good relations and humanism of the Turkmen people, in order to be sent in November 2023 on behalf of the Charitable Foundation for providing assistance to children in need of care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov humanitarian assistance to the people of Palestine, and first of all Palestinian children, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order, in in accordance with which it is prescribed to transfer free of charge to the Palestinian side relevant medicines and medical products, textile products, food products and other goods as humanitarian aid.

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular meeting of the State Security Council.

Development of wide fruitful international cooperation, where a great significance is attached to humanitarian relations acts as one of the priority areas of the foreign policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and nowadays successfully realized by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Today in the Turkmen capital a meeting was held between representatives of the State Concern «Türkmengaz» and the delegation of the Republic of Iraq led by the Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadel,

Events of the past week have become another confirmation of steady strengthening of the economic might of Turkmenistan, its adherence to the socially oriented policy under the motto “state for people!” as well as a responsible, active and initiative position of our country in the issues of bilateral and multilateral partnership. 

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The agenda included issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country.

The Certificate of the European Technical Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (ETAGE) convened by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe has become a new evidence of international recognition of Turkmenistan's achievements in such a priority area as public health protection. This event was dedicated to the conference "Arkadagyň ýola goýan saglyk sahabaty – bagtyýar durmuşyň gözbaşy", held today at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University.

Last week, 36 transactions were registered on the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
