Today, in the festively decorated hall of the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace, a New Year’s celebration has taken place, during which the children of the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace have been presented with gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Now the most favourite and long-awaited holiday of the New year, which brings people happiness and pleasure, bright wishes and new hopes also has come. While we sum up one more page of the history of the country and make courageous plans for the future, Turkmenistan, all its big and small cities and villages, "put on" a festive attire and in each corner of our fatherland the atmosphere of cheerful festivities and high spirit prevail.

The New Year, which is a bright symbol of unity, friendship and happiness, is celebrated by all people of the world, like the people of Turkmenistan, with the best hopes and bright dreams with their families. Holidays, filled with pleasant events, instill joy in a person and inspire him to new achievements.

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the Rukhyet Palace with the participation of Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the State Security Council, as well as khyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

Thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag and the respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” was marked by great success.  

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited a New Year's show at the Main New Year tree of the country, having shared joy and fun with young participants of the festive event on the square in front of the "Älem" cultural and entertainment centre. 

On December 28, 2023, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Today, there were held celebrations on the occasion of presenting valuable gifts to young Turkmen citizens who especially distinguished themselves in the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as gifts and certificates of honor from ministries and departments. 

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the contribution of every citizen of our country to dynamic development of sovereign Turkmenistan, successful realisation of adopted national and state programs, improvement of social standards of our people and further augmentation of international authority of our neutral state is great. In this connection, our compatriots, who have made a weighty contribution to achievement of high boundaries by our sovereign fatherland, are conferred awards and honours.

The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order, according to which, taking into account his personal contribution to bringing Turkmen sports to a high level, disseminating the country’s highest sporting achievements in the world, representing Turkmenistan at international competitions, increasing youth interest in sports in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as well as High successes achieved at the World Kurash Championship held in Ashgabat in 2023 are ordered to be awarded to the following citizens:
