With a view to ensuring further cotton growth on the basis of rational use of land, water, agricultural machinery and mineral fertilizers, and promotion of high-quality agro-technical measures in every province of the country, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Nature Protection, the Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provincial administrations to:

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution approving the Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2019-2025.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Yazmyradov, Annageldi Orazberdiyevich, was appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Water Resources of Turkmenistan.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Bayramdurdyyev, Magtymguly, was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Nature Protection of Turkmenistan.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Rejepov, Resul Shihdurdyyevich, was appointed Minister of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Durhanov, Tahyrberdi Charyberdiyevich, was appointed Minister of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan.

Total volume growth of trade turnover for the period under review by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was 10.1 percent.

The ministries and departments of industrial and communication complexes fulfilled the plan of production and services by 108.7 percent with the growth rate of 117.7 percent by the outcomes of 2018. Vice-premier M. Chakiyev has informed the Head of the State about the outcomes of development of these branches in the last year at extended session of the Government on February 1.

The President of Turkmenistan approved the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025 at the extended session of the Government on February 1. It was mentioned in this regard, that the model of the development of national economy in next seven years proposed by the Government includes number of strategic directions.

It was highlighted at the extended session of the Government on February 1 that successfully develops the relations of friendship and constructive cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral formats. This is indicated by the outcomes of foreign visits of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and visits of the heads of number of foreign states to Turkmenistan for the period under review as well as by efficient partnership with competent international organizations.
