The city of Turkmenabat has hosted a ceremony of opening two 4-story apartment buildings (for 24 families each), located at the intersection of Bitarap Turkmenistan and Ashgabat Streets.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Protection, hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan to the PRC made the presentation of the first Caspian economic forum, the Concept of the chairing of Turkmenistan in the CIS and the IFAS as well as the event on occasion of International Nowruz Day in the China University of Petroleum Beijing on March 18. More than 300 people including professors and tutors, Chinese and Turkmen students as well as public and mass media representatives took part in the event organized with the support of the directorate of the University.

The King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa has visited National Museum of Turkmen Carpet and International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex under the programme of the state visit to Turkmenistan.

The capital hosted the talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, who arrived in our country on the state visit.

By the invitation of His Excellency President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, His Majesty, the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa has made the state visit to Turkmenistan on May 17 – 19, 2019. High-level delegation including the ministers, high-rank officials and representatives of business circles has come together with His Majesty, the King. Reception ceremony of high ranking guest has been organized in honour of His Majesty in the Presidential Palace on March 18. His Excellency President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held meeting with His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, which resolved to award the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Ak Khalifa with the Bitaraplyk Order for special merits in assertion of the status of permanent neutrality on independent Turkmenistan, consolidation of friendship, development of old economic, scientific, educational, cultural and international cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as for personnel input to the consolidation of unity and solidarity of two countries.

By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis G. Mammedova received the credentials of Issiradjou Ibrahim Gomina, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to Turkmenistan.

One of the highest state awards of Turkmenistan - Bitaraplyk (Neutrality) Order was awarded to King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa upon the completion of the top-level talks between Turkmenistan and Bahrain as well as the ceremony of signing the bilateral documents.
