On occasion of the New Year – 2020, the leaders of foreign states address congratulations to President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Doctor of Medicine from Germany Axel Hauschild was awarded with a title of the Professor Emeritus of the Myrat Garriyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.

President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, and Prime Minister of Georgia, Georgy Gakharia congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan on the New Year, wishing good health, success and prosperity.

From the first days of the New Year, in accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the people of Turkmenistan have received the pensions, benefits and other allowances increased by 10 %.

School students from all parts of Turkmenistan have left for Gyokdere. They will spend their winter holidays in children health-improving centres located in this natural pearl.

The Trade and Industrial Chamber hosted New Year celebration where pupils of Döwletliler köşgi received presents on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Presents were handed over and congratulations, wishes of happy life, health and prosperity were conveyed on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to parents of the first child who was born in Turkmenistan in new year 2020.
