Based upon age-old good neighbourhood relations and humane principles of Turkmen people, with a view to assist neighbouring Afghanistan on a systematic and regular basis and to provide an all-round support in economic, social and humanitarian spheres as well as to send a humanitarian aid to the brotherly Afghan people in December, 2021, the President of Turkmenistan has signed the Order, in accordance with which the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Ministry of Textile Industry, «Türkmengaz» State Concern, Seydi Oil Refinery, TORC, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have been assigned to transfer without compensation the related goods and products to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.
Taking into account their participation and special distinction in organization of the national Pavilion and National Day of Turkmenistan at the high level in the ongoing EXPO-2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the President of Turkmenistan has signed the Resolution, in accordance with which several citizens of our country have been awarded commemorative badges on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, according to tradition, on the eve of the New Year, convened an enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan to foreign countries, as well as some other leaders. Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received Governor of the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation Igor Babushkin.
