The presentation to military personnel and employees of the military and law enforcement agencies of the jubilee medal “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 35 ýyllygyna bagyşlanyp geçirilen dabaraly harby ýörişe gatnaşyja”, the conferral of high state awards, and the awarding of the next military ranks during these festive days further enhanced the significance of the celebrations marking the glorious anniversary.
The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov,signed a decree, in accordance with the decree, taking into account the contribution to strengthening the defence capability of the Fatherland and the significant merits in consolidating the rule of law and public order, maintaining peace in society, and faithfully fulfilling the sacred military duty, as well as on the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, in accordance with paragraph 15 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, a group of military personnel and employees of military and law enforcement agencies of the country have been awarded military and special ranks, as well as class ranks.
Today, a festive concert featuring cultural figures and masters of the arts took place at the capital’s Congress Center, attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to mark the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
Today, the State Migration Service hosted the ceremony of granting permanent residence permits to foreign citizens residing in our country in the territory of Turkmenistan according to the Resolution of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The event, which has enriched historically significant events of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged horses», became another acknowledgement of invariable adherence of our Fatherland to humane principles.
Under the wise leadership of deeply esteemed President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, our people with high enthusiasm and labour successes solemnly meet the glorious 35th anniversary of sacred independence of our native land.
Guided with mercy and humane principles, inherited from our great ancestors, with a view of the further strengthening of unity and coherence of Turkmen society and each family, as well as on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of independence of the country, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on pardon of the convicted on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan. The document granted a pardon to 1054 citizens for their release from the further service of their basic punishment in the form of imprisonment, and from additional punishment in the form of obligation to live in certain locality.
Guided by principles of humanism and virtue of our ancestors and based on adherence to conventional international standards on protection of the rights and freedom of the individual as well as according to the Law of Turkmenistan «On migration», the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution. According to the document, permanent residence permits were granted a group of foreign citizens to stay in Turkmenistan.
Today, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, ceremonies were held to present state awards and badges conferring honorary titles upon outstanding workers across various economic sectors, leading production personnel, employees of ministries and agencies, including their structural subdivisions, and figures in culture and the arts.
Today, a solemn ceremony for awarding the academic titles of Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher was held at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in honour of the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of the Motherland. The event, which added to the series of historically significant events of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, demonstrated that the scientific and educational system of our country has embarked on a path of harmonious development. The fact that the ceremony was held on the eve of the country’s Independence Day gave the solemn occasion a special atmosphere.
In order to ensure favourable conditions for the solemn celebration of Independence Day of Turkmenistan and comfortable recreation for the population of our country on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, and also in accordance with Part 2 of Article 81 of the Labour Code of Turkmenistan, I decree:
