An opening ceremony for the new building complex of the «Archman» Sanatorium took place today, attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On October 8, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the high-level events held in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone.

On October 8, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone. President Aliyev had arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit to participate in high-level events.

On October 8, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone. President Tokayev had arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in high-level events.

On October 8, 2026, a meeting was held between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, who had arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit to participate in high-level events in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone.

On October 8, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone. President Rahmon had arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in major international events.

Today, heads of states and honoured guests participating in the international events, held in the Avaza national tourist zone, visited the Festival of national dishes of member countries of the CIS and Islamic Republic of Iran.

Today, in the territory of a complex of fountains of the Avaza national tourist zone the concert of workers of culture and art of member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held.

Today, on the sidelines of large scale international events, which are held in the Avaza national tourist zone, the press conference devoted to achievements of television and motion picture arts in the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged horses» took place.
