For fulfilment of the Resolution from March 4, 2019 on Construction of new modern administrative centre of Ahal Velayat, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution allowing relative establishments and organizations to enter into agreements with local construction companies for project design and building of facilities in new administrative centre of Ahal Velayat with development of surrounding territory.

Khyakims of Ahal, Balkan, Lebap, Mary and Dashoguz Velayats reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who arrived on official visit to the Republic of Italy had a talks with Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte and President of the country Sergio Matterella.

Balkan velayat cotton producers have reported on the fulfillment of their contractual obligations, having harvested 5,000-plus tons of ‘white gold’.

Today in the morning, the President of Turkmenistan, who is on an official visit to Rome, headed to the Palazzo Chigi - the official residence of the Prime Minister of Italy. The Guard of Honor lined up on the square in honour of the distinguished guest. Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Giuseppe Conte cordially welcomed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Speaking during the meeting with Italian businessmen at the Rome Cavalieri Hotel, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that at present, the Turkmen-Italian trade and economic relations steadily developed, based on the accumulated positive experience of partnership.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a breakfast meeting with the leading businessmen in Itlay at the Rome Cavalieri Hotel. Heads of a number of ministries, major companies and financial institutions participated in the meeting.

The President of Turkmenistan arrived in the Republic of Italy on an official visit. High-ranking officials of the friendly country as well as the members of the governmental delegation of Turkmenistan welcomed the President of Turkmenistan in Rome–Fiumicino International Airport.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the site of the large construction project ongoing in the Turkmen capital to check on the progress of works, the city’s redevelopment and social infrastructure improvement.

Signing of bilateral documents took place by the outcomes of Turkmen – Italian business forum, which was held in Milano under official visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Italy.
