President of Turkmenistan Held a Video Conference Call

On November 21, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular working session with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in charge of the agricultural complex, the khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat city. The governor of Akhal velayat, E.Orazgeldiyev, was the first the head of state invited for video-reporting. The khyakim’s report was focused on the state of affairs in the region and on the readiness measures progress for the countrywide celebrated significant dates.

In the comments to the report, the President of Turkmenistan has emphasized the importance of keeping a very close eye on proper conducting of land treatment and livestock farms managing measures. In this regard, the head of state instructed the region’s governor to keep close track of the present situation in the region.

The Balkan velayat’s khyakim, D.Durdyev, reported on the state of affairs in the western region of the country, including the measures undertaken to provide the appropriate conditions for livestock wintering and to ensure the coordinated functioning of heating systems in the winter season. Focusing on the importance of conducting efficiently the land treatment and agri-technical measures, the national leader assigned the region’s governor responsible for preparing in the proper way the agricultural machinery for the next year’s planting season. The President of Turkmenistan has also exhorted to ensure an adequate functioning level of heating systems, power and gas supply to the houses, schools, and kindergartens.

As for the facilities under construction in the region, the head of state placed special stress on exercising tough control over the quality and timely commissioning of the construction objects.

The videoconferencing was then continued with the Dashoguz velayat khyakim O.Gurbannazarov’s video- report, which was concentrated on the key issues of the agri-sector, notably on taking steps towards accelerated harvesting of the remaining-in-the-fields cotton, on managing the fields planted to winter crops, preparing the agri-machinery fleet for the next season, providing warm and substantial wintering for the livestock.

Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the governor to increase the paces and efficiency of works in every branch of the region’s economy through the coordinated functioning of the relevant authorities.

The current state of affairs in the Lebap velayat, the implementation progress of the seasonal agricultural works, and the measures undertaken to provide the appropriate conditions for warm and affluent wintering of the livestock were in the focus of video-report made by the region’s khyakim, Ch.Charlyev. The report included also information about providing quality-of-life improvements to the population and about advancing readiness measures for the organized celebrating the significant dates.

The head of state instructed the governor to ensure reliable functioning of heating systems in the houses, schools and health institutions in compliance with the seasonal requirements. The President of Turkmenistan strongly recommended ensuring in the region of uninterrupted functioning of heating systems, supplies of the natural gas and electric power. Special emphasis the national leader placed on the significance of proper preparation for celebrating the Harvest Festival, Neutrality Day, and New Year events.

The khyakim of Mary velayat, B.Annagurbanov, reported on the general situation in the region, the measures taken for preparing the farmlands and machinery for the new agri-season and for implementing the local agri-technical works.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov made emphatically clear that the efficiency of field works in the velayat, trouble-free functioning of heating systems and other social facilities is an indispensible condition of the region’s social policy success.
The video-report of the Mayor of Ashgabat M.Abilov covered the current state of affairs in the capital, the implementation progress of the presidential commissions aimed at bettering the main city of the country, and the readiness measures for celebrating the significant dates.

Highlighting that the capital has to be exemplary in all its respects, the President of Turkmenistan ordered the Mayor to keep unrelenting control over the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of all elements of the municipal technical infrastructure including heating, energy and gas supply systems.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, R.Bazarov, was invited for videoconferencing to report on implementing the presidential errands and on the state of affairs in the agri-sector, notably on the ongoing harvesting of the remaining cotton, managing the fields planted to winter crops, and preparing the agri-machinery for the next season. To summarize the report, the national leader demanded to promote advancement of the production base and effectiveness of the agri-food enterprises. The President of Turkmenistan also demanded that all conditions be created for decent work and rest of daikhans; the works on developing the Land Cadastre are also to be accelerated.
