On the occasion of the Day of Workers of Construction, Power Engineering and Communal Services, celebrated in Turkmenistan on the second Saturday of September, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the representatives of these professions on their professional holiday.
“Our country, which has turned into a huge construction site during the years of independence, has launched large-scale construction of structures and buildings for various purposes. Turkmen builders have accumulated ample experience in the design of buildings and structures, high-quality performance of work, ensuring their commissioning on time.
“Currently, huge funds are invested into this industry that allow implementing large-scale projects for the construction of large industrial enterprises, buildings and structures, modern residential buildings”.
“Their construction has been widely launched in all regions of our country. In accordance with the Program of socio-economic development of the country for 2020-2025, in order to further improve the social and living standards, the construction of a modern administrative center of the Ahal velayat, new villages and settlements in the regions, and a high-speed highway Ashgabat-Turkmenabat started in 2019.
“In 2020, it is planned to commission hundreds of various buildings and structures, in particular, comfortable residential buildings, administrative buildings, a hotel complex and a Creativity Center in Ashgabat.
“Currently, the country successfully modernizes the construction industry, creates import-substituting capacities for the production of building materials and new jobs, increases the volume of export-oriented goods and the range of building materials from local raw materials, introduces digital technologies into production”, says the President of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory address.
“The energy sector is one of the most important industries, which gives a dynamic impetus to the development of the national economy of the country. As a result of the ongoing reforms, it was possible to build and launch new powerful power plants, as well as thousands of kilometers of power transmission lines. Hundreds of kilometers of high-voltage transmission lines were built to increase the volume of electricity supplied to foreign countries. One of the major projects being implemented in the energy sector is the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan transmission line project. On this holiday, I would like to especially note that all these works are carried out thanks to the tireless work of Turkmen power engineers”, underlines the President of Turkmenistan in his address.
“The government pays particular attention to strengthening the material and technical base of the electric power industry, providing high-quality specialists, introducing advanced technologies. In the interests of peace and sustainable development in the region, the establishment of friendly relations, in order to actively integrate into the world economy, we do our best to ensure the availability of our energy resources for foreign consumers.
“This is one of the key areas of our energy policy. Large-scale tasks are set to us, the solution of which will ensure the further development of the industry, improve the living standards of people, and strengthen the national economy of the country.
“The utilities system also provides its services for residents of Ashgabat and all regions of the country. I think the specialists of the communal services deserve their work on maintaining our capital - the city of Ashgabat and velayat centers in an exemplary manner to be distinguished.
“I am firmly convinced that the workers of construction, power engineering and communal services will fulfill all the tasks assigned to them with honor”, says the President of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory address.
The President of Turkmenistan addressed the wishes of good health, longevity, family well-being, happiness and new great successes to the workers of construction, power engineering and communal services.
