Service of railway passengers is improved

Under the modernization of the system of railway transport and fulfilment of the assignments of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on its technological provision, the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan carries out the work for improvement of service of the passengers and increment of passengers turnover.

Opening of the website providing online schedule of passenger trains from July 1 this year is one of the examples of successful implementation of the plans on expansion of the services for users of this transport.

Special applications for mobile telephones on Android and IOS platforms named «Demirýol» allowing the passengers to be aware of the train schedule online has been developed for easy access to the information.

The schedule is in Turkmen, English and Russian languages and allows easily finding necessary route. To do this, the user has to enter the departure and destination points and choose the type of train – passenger, fast or additional. After the search, the user will get the numbers of necessary trains, departure and arrival time as well as hours and the name of the stations on the way.

Additional ticket sale outlet has been opened in Kerwen Hotel in Avaza National tourist zone for improvement of the service of the clients. It will allow the tourist staying in the hotel buying or changing the tickets at any time.
